The scholarships are open to current and very recent Queen Mary Phd students and research staff in the science and engineering sector and related interdisciplinary areas. The offer the chance to spend time working in a company or with other users of research, to network with employers at regular events, and to access professional short courses.

This blog is maintained by Ursula Martin, Director, and other colleagues on the impactQM team at Queen Mary University of London. We are planning the impactQM project, which starts in October 2009. The project includes a scheme which will give PhD students and post-docs the opportunity of a salaried job placement with an external organisation. We very much want input from PhD students, postdocs, and early career researchers in science and engineering subjects at Queen Mary.
